Exams are among the most important and stressful events in the life of any learner. That’s why it’s so important they are conducted in the correct way – invigilators are crucial to this process.
Duties include supervising students taking examinations, preparing exam rooms and distributing and collecting exam papers.
Working as a team, invigilators contribute to ensuring a calm environment for the exams, giving candidate’s confidence in the process whilst ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
We are looking for more invigilators to help oversee our formal GCSE and A Level exams in May and June 2020. Invigilators need to be reliable and punctual, highly flexible, able to relate to learners and comfortable in a high pressure environment. It is a casual part time role, but one that can make a real difference with full training provided for all new invigilators.
If you are interested in finding out more about being an invigilator please contact Mrs Jo Moore, Examinations Officer at Thurston Community College. 01359 230885 x 1181
